Birchbox October 2015

The time of the month has quickly come around again where I share with you what is in my monthly Birchbox. This month we had a choice of 2 different boxes a back to basics or the stylist guest editor box. When choosing your box you could also see what products were in each box. I went for the stylist box as I will use 4 out of the 6 products inside and there seemed to be a good mixture of products.

I love the box design this month with the shattered and crumble make up on it super pretty, another one I will have to save. Each item in this box has been hand-picked by Stylist’s Associate Editor Joanna McGary.

So lets see what is in this months box as always the products come in the little canvas draw string bag. The first item and the one I was least excited about is something I have had numerous times in my Birchbox’s and it the English Laundry No.7 Signature For Her perfume sample.

This perfume is the beauty bonus item and is also a Birchbox exclusive.

This perfume is a rose geranium and creamy white flowers combined with musk to create an uplifting scent. As much as I like this scent I’d like to see a different perfume sample in my box for a change.

100% Pure, Fruit Pigmented Lip Glaze.

This was one of the main reasons I chose this box just on how pretty the product looked. I adore the silver metal packaging with the white detail on super pretty, almost to nice to use.

This lipstick is formulated with avocado and cocoa butters to nourish and rich fruit pigments, this lipstick is a matte finish and its a full size with a price tag of £19.

Bioderma, Sensibio H20.

I have seen so many people say how great this product is I cant wait to try it for myself. This is a sample size of 20ml.

This is the original Parisian micellar water used for fast effective cleansing, without irritation.

Parlor by Jeff Chastain, Smoothing Blowout Spray.

This is another item I’m looking forward to using as I am always blow drying my hair I always like to use a protection spray and this one has added bonus’ it’s also a very good sample size with 30ml of product.

Use this tonic for blotting out frizz, protecting against heat damage, rendering hair more manageable and hold a style for longer.

The full size of this product is £17.

This next brand has been seen in another Birchbox recently and it from Rituals, Yogi Flow Foaming Shower Gel.

This is a gel that turns into foam on contact with water, creating a rose scented wash. This is a very generous sample size with 50ml of product it should last a good amount of time.

The full size of this product is £8.50.

The last product from this months box is something I’ve really been getting into lately, sheet masks. This one id from the brand When. Its their Travelmate sheet mask.

This refreshing sheet mask locks in moisture softening skin and undoing damage. There is for me only one down side to this mask its a 30 minute treatment. When using a sheet mask I like them for the quick and easy application but also for the quick amount of time most of them take. The fact this one is a 30 minute masks makes me think twice about using it.

For a pack of 4 of these masks it is £25.

I have n gotten Birchbox for a year and by far this is my all time favourite beauty box, yes it may not always have full size products in it but there is always something new to try. It’s also a great way of trying a lot of the more expensive products that are around at the moment.
