A new month calls for new subscription boxes. Last month on the blog it was quite and most if not all subscriptions boxes were missed but I’m back this month with a fab box from Birchbox.
This months box design was a summer theme with 2 box designs, one with super cute palm trees the second which I recieved was covered in pinapples.
Not only did the boxes look amazing but this month they came to us as a draw and not a box. Like me I’m sure most of you use our Birchbox’s as storage so this is so handy.
This month my box contained 5 items one of which was full size but no beauty extra. So lets get stuck in and see what was inside.
I was a little dissaspointed to find 2 face creams in this months box. Something else could have replaced one to give more variety and choice. Did this happen to anyone else?

This product I will use as I use hairspray on a daily basis however its not something that excites me in a subscription box.
Cynthia Rowley Beauty, Brightening Illuminator
This is a very pretty pink highlighter when it first comes out of the tube. However when blended into the skin esspecially mine which has a tan you can barely see its there. I think this may work better on my skin as a bafe before I apply foundation or even mixed in with a moisturiser for a very very subtle glow.
Jelly Pong Pong, Paradise Pigments in Fig Jam
This multi purpose product is a full size with an RRP of £17.95 this can be used on both lips and cheeks. While this is a pretty colour the smell of this product is so off putting it smells so much like the dress up make up we all had as childen that came free on the from of the girlie magazines that had the plastic smell. I definaly do not think this is worth the high price tag.
Even though I’m not sold on this months contents I am loving the box. I know it is impossible to please everyone every month so I still love my good old Birchbox.
